Fantasy World Building Workshop w/ Hollis Mccollum

Award-winning fantasy author, Hollis Jo McCollum, will be leading a discussion where she shares some of her favorite tips and tricks for creating your own fantasy world! From how to draw a realistic-looking world map to the one village of cat people that only live on a remote island in the middle of the world's largest ocean, Hollis will share ways to bring out the best in your own world-building that allows your individual ideas and creativity to flow freely. You'll love world-building so much that you'll start making new worlds just for the fun of it.  During this workshop, a fully interactive demo where everyone who attends the panel can draw their very own fantasy map, utilizing one of the discussed techniques, will take place. So, be ready to really get into the process while we are discussing all the wondrous ins and outs and playful themes of world-building.
