Challenging Sanctity w/ Allison Turner

We live in a world that divides belief systems into two categories: Religions that are considered real and myths that aren't. Often, this perspective can make it difficult for us to explore what truly speaks to us and what we believe. How did that happen? How does that affect us? And how accurate is that idea?

Challenging Sanctity takes a fact-based approach to answering these questions. We will touch on indoctrination, religious trauma, who benefits from this mindset, and why it can be so difficult to leave this mindset behind. 

We'll then explore the origins of the Abrahamic god, the holy texts, and the Abrahamic afterlife -- including the origins of hell. As we discuss those topics, we'll be able to see how other belief systems have just as much validity as the Abrahamic faiths, which may have an agenda towards furthering those faiths, and how to combat thoughts that may keep us from exploring what we truly believe. 
 
The goal of Challenging Sanctity is to empower everyone to pursue their curiosity without fear of divine judgment or consequence. We all should be able to ask questions, follow our intuition, and explore options outside of Abrahamic Faiths without fear.
